Jill Biden’s rescheduled Indiana trip announced
Plans are now set for First Lady Jill Biden’s previously-announced trip to Indiana. Biden was originally scheduled to visit the Hoosier State in mid-February before the trip was postponed.
Biden will make a stop at Ivy Tech Community College in Valparaiso on Monday, March 6, the White House announced Thursday.
Joining Biden on the trip will be U.S. Deputy Secretary of Labor and nominee for U.S. Secretary of Labor Julie Su, as well as U.S. Deputy Secretary of Energy David Turk.
The First Lady will speak about the “Biden Administration’s commitment to strengthening our economy and building pathways to good-paying jobs through career-connected learning.”
Original plans called for Biden to visit Valpo on Feb. 17, but the trip was postponed for unknown reasons.
