The JCC Indianapolis has hired Drew Alexander (pictured) as director of member engagement. He previously worked at the Fishers YMCA as membership specialist and supervisor of a 40-person membership team. Alexander also has experience as a YMCA camp counselor and coordinator of the School Age Services program at the YMCA of Southwestern Indiana.

Michelle Ferguson has been named executive assistant to the CEO. She previously worked at the University of Indianapolis, where she served in two different roles during her tenure – first an administrative assistant in the Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning, then an enrollment counselor for graduate programs. Ferguson also has extensive volunteer experience through her work as Volunteer Coordinator for AmeriCorps VISTA and as cultural affairs Intern with Exodus Refugee Immigration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Hanover College and an MBA in Organizational Leadership from the University of Indianapolis.

Also, Renae Schuldt (pictured) has been promoted to assistant director of aquatics. She has been a lifeguard, swim instructor, head lifeguard, lead swim instructor, swim team coach, and served as interim director of aquatics in September and October 2019.
