JCB has promoted Dave Ellis (pictured), Tim Risen and Michelle Schaefer (pictured) to vice presidents. Ellis joined the bank in 2007 as assistant vice president, commercial banker, with more than 30 years of lending experience in commercial real estate and agriculture. He is involved in a wide variety of community activities and events including 4H and his church.

Risen joined JCB in April of 2016. A graduate of Indiana State University and a Bloomington-area community bank lender for 13 years, he provides strategic insight into the Bloomington market and customer base. Risen is actively involved in the Bloomington community through the Boys & Girls Club and other nonprofit organizations.

Schaefer returned to her commercial banker role in August 2017; however, before her return she had over nine years’ experience with JCB in treasury management and commercial lending. A graduate of Ball State University, she is involved in many Jackson and Bartholomew County community organizations, including serving the Columbus Chamber as an Ambassador, the Heritage Fund and Camp Lakeview Foundation.
