An industrial fan manufacturer is pulling out of Indiana. Hartzell Air Movement is planning to combine its Portland operations with an existing facility in Ohio. In a letter to the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, the company says the move is expected to affect close to four dozen employees. The company says reductions are set to begin in July and are expected to be complete in September.

Hartzell's website says Portland operations date back to 1970. In the late-1990s, the company announced an expansion in Jay County.
