Officials in Indianapolis have cut the ribbon on the newest location for the Jane Pauley Community Health Center. The organization occupies a former Marsh store on the city’s northeast side and says the facility will provide family medicine and behavioral health services.
The new location is the 22nd Jane Pauley Community Health Center in Indianapolis. Our partners at WTHR-TV report 15 of the locations are open to the public with the remainder being school clinics.
The ribbon cutting ceremony featured several big names, including "CBS Sunday Morning" host Jane Pauley, the health center’s chief executive officer Marc Hackett, Congresswoman Susan Brooks (R-IN), State Senator Jim Merritt (R-Indianapolis), Community Health Network CEO Bryan Mills and Indianapolis City-County Council Minority Leader Mike McQuillen.
Marc Hackett will appear this weekend on Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick to talk about the new location.
