Jackson County Bank has promoted Marvin Veatch (pictured) to president and chief executive officer. He succeeds David Geis, who retired after nearly 41 years. Veatch is the ninth CEO in the bank’s 117-year history. He has more than 28 years of banking, financial and accounting experience to this role, with 15 of those years being at JCB. Veatch previously served as senior VP, CFO and COO.

He is a graduate of Anderson University. Veatch currently serves as treasurer of the Jackson County Industrial Development Corp., board chairman of the Greater Seymour Chamber of Commerce and board member of the Community Foundation of Jackson County.
