IWU Board to Decide on Football Program

The board announced in April 2015 that it was considering adding football and swimming and diving programs. The university announced in February that is was moving forward with a women’s swimming and diving program, which is scheduled to begin in the 2016-2017 season.
IWU Director of Athletics Mark DeMichael says while he doesn’t know what the board’s decision is, he and Keith Newman, CEO of Residential Education and Executive Vice President at IWU, will answer any questions that arise regardless of the decision.
