Ivy Tech to Break Ground on Auto Tech Center

Subscribe NowIvy Tech Community College will Wednesday hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its Automotive Technology Center in Indianapolis. The 60,000-square-foot facility will house classrooms, training labs, and corporate labs for the college’s manufacturing partners.
The ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 4751 Century Plaza Road in Indianapolis. The college says it plans to enhance partnerships within the International Marketplace District to increase educational attainment.
The ceremony will include remarks from Indianapolis Mayor Joe Hogsett, Ivy Tech President Dr. Sue Ellspermann and International Marketplace District Executive Director Mary Clark, among others.

In 2017, the school received $1 million from the Indianapolis Auto Trade Association for scholarships as well as the new automotive technology training center in Indianapolis.
