The transfer pathway agreement allows students working on an associate’s degree at Ivy Tech to simultaneously satisfy general education requirements at SMWC.
The schools say the agreement will help students save time and money as they they work toward their education and career goals. The partnership allows students to meet SMWC requirements while paying the Ivy Tech rate for classes.
Ivy Tech Chancellor Jonathan Weinzapfel says, although the schools have worked together before, "we are always looking for opportunities to further the partnership between our two institutions." He says it will also allow the school’s team of Ivy Tech College Connection Coaches to more effectively help high school students map out their long-term educational paths.
