The Presidential Search Committee for Ivy Tech Community College will meet in executive session Tuesday. The purpose of the meeting is "to receive information about and interview prospective employees."
Last month, the head of the search committee said the group was reviewing more than 30 applicants, described as a "diverse mix of candidates from both inside Indiana and outside the state." The committee did not say if the number of candidates had been narrowed down.
The person selected for the position will succeed Tom Snyder, who announced his retirement in September. Former Lieutenant Governor Sue Ellspermann resigned from her position with the state in order to pursue the president position with Ivy Tech.
