Ivy Tech Names New Chancellors

Ivy Tech Community College has named chancellors for two of its newly-reorganized campuses in northern Indiana. Our partners at The Times of Northwest Indiana report Aco Sikoski will serve as chancellor of the Valparaiso campus, while Thomas Coley will lead the South Bend/Elkhart campus.
Sikoski previous served as president of the Valparaiso campus under Ivy Tech’s old organizational structure. He began with Ivy Tech in 1997 teaching technology courses and has served as a professor, program chair, and dean.
Coley has served as chancellor of the Ivy Tech Northwest and North Central regions. He joined the college in 2011.
The appointments are part of the new organizational structure for Ivy Tech announced last week. The college will be split into 19 self-sustaining campuses with their own chancellors, who will be announced through August 1.
In a news release, Ivy Tech President Sue Ellspermann said the goal of the new structure is to place more attention on students and reduce friction across the organization.
