The Ivy Tech Foundation has appointed several new members to its board of directors. They include Warsaw-based Lake City Bank President David Findlay and Crowe Horwath LLP Director Mike Harmless.

Indianapolis, Ind. — Ivy Tech Foundation has announced the appointments of new officers to its board of directors. The appointments include Chair David M. Findlay of Warsaw; Past-Chair Philip B. Roby of Carmel; First Vice-Chair Kevin M. Ahaus of Richmond; Treasurer Patrick R. Ralston of Terre Haute; and Secretary Michael Harmless of Greencastle.

David M. Findlay is President and Chief Financial Officer of Lakeland Financial Corporation and Lake City Bank in Warsaw. He has been a Foundation board member since 2009 and served previously on the Ivy Tech Community College Board of Trustees. His other affiliations include The Elkhart County Community Foundation, The Logan Center, Indiana Bankers Association, OrthoWorx, Northern Indiana Workforce Board and WNIT public television.

Philip B. Roby is retired Director, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Lending Officer of The National Bank of Indianapolis Corporation. He has been a Foundation board member since 2003. His other affiliations include Lynx Capital Corporation, YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, Greater Indianapolis Progress Committee, Noble of Indiana Inc., and the Marion County Commission of Youth.

Kevin M. Ahaus is President of Ahaus Tool and Engineering, Inc., in Richmond. He also previously served as a member of the College’s State Board of Trustees and currently serves as the chair of the Ivy Tech Richmond Campaign – Changing Lives…Making Our Communities Great. His other affiliations include the Economic Development Corporation of Wayne County, Wayne County Area Chamber of Commerce, and Purdue University College of Technology-Richmond Advisory Board.

Patrick R. Ralston is Vice President of Business and Economic Development and Government Relations at First Financial Bank in Terre Haute. He has been a Foundation board member since 2004. He is affiliated with Regional Hospital in Terre Haute, Vigo County Redevelopment Commission, and St. Mary’s of the Woods College.

Michael Harmless is a Director at Crowe Horwath LLP in Performance Consulting services. He previously served on the College's Board of Trustees and has been on the Foundation board since 2006. He served two terms as mayor of Greencastle. His affiliations included serving as co-chair of statewide outreach for the 2012 Super Bowl Host Committee.

Ivy Tech Foundation partners with donors to invest in Ivy Tech Community College students, faculty and programs to build stronger communities and a better Indiana. Founded in 1969, Ivy Tech Foundation has assets of over $150 million and endowments exceeding $32 million. Gifts to the Foundation provide nearly $3 million annually for scholarships and student aid.
