Ivy Tech Community College has named Andrew Bowne senior vice president and chief operating officer. He currently serves as chancellor for the college’s East Central and Richmond regions. Bowne will begin his new role August 15. In his new role, he will be responsible for working with local chancellors on regional operations, statewide improvement efforts and facilities planning work. Bowne will also lead the strategic planning work which will be underway in 2017. He has served as chancellor of the East Central region since 2012 and the Richmond region since 2014. Ivy Tech says an interim chancellor for both regions will be named in the coming weeks.
