Ivy Tech Community College has named Valerie Ray interim president of its Richmond campus. She most recently served as the school's executive director of finance and facilities. A formal search process to fill the role on a permanent basis will begin soon.

Earlier this year, Ivy Tech announced a major restructuring, which included combining Richmond and Connersville into the East Central Region along with Anderson, Marion, Muncie and New Castle.

Steven Tincher previously served as chancellor of the Richmond campus, but was promoted to vice president for the business and public services division with the college.

The college recently appointed John Lightle and James Willey presidents of the Marion and Anderson campuses, respectively.
