The person chosen to fill the vacancy will be selected by Governor Eric Holcomb.
The committee interviewed seven candidates for the position and ultimately recommended the following people to the governor:
- Stefanie Krevda, executive director of external affairs for the IURC
- State Representative David Ober (R-82)
- Tristan Vance, director of the Indiana Office of Energy Development
Atterholt announced his retirement in December. The person chosen by Holcomb will serve the remainder of Atterholt’s term, which is set to expire January 31, 2020.
