IUPUI has promoted Etta Ward to assistant vice chancellor for research development. She most recently served as executive director of research development in IUPUI’s Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research. Ward joined the school as a grants development coordinator/grants specialist, where she counseled and directed faculty, graduate students and academic staff in matters related to sponsored programs development and scholarly activity. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and an executive Master of Arts in philanthropic studies both from IUPUI.
