IUPUI Names First Female Dean of School of Dentistry

Subscribe NowCarol Anne Murdoch-Kinch has been named dean of the Indiana University School of Dentistry at IUPUI, pending approval from the Board of Trustees. Murdoch-Kinch will be the 10th person, and first woman, named dean in the school’s 140-year history. She previously served as associate dean for academic affairs and the Dr. Walter H. Swartz Professor of Integrated Special Care Dentistry at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Murdoch-Kinch received her clinical certificate from IUPUI, her bachelor’s from the University of New Brunswick and a DDS from Dalhousie University.
