IUPUI has promoted Camy Broeker to vice chancellor for finance and administration. She most recently served as associate vice chancellor for finance. Broeker has served as IUPUI’s interim vice chancellor for finance and administration since October 2015. As vice chancellor for finance and administration, she will be responsible for financial oversight of the IUPUI campus and its approximately $1.3 billion operating budget. Broeker will also be a member of the Indiana University Fiscal Council. She started at IUPUI in 1986, when she worked as the budget coordinator in the department then known as telecommunications. Broeker continued to hold financial services roles for about 20 years in telecommunications and administrative affairs. In 2007, she was named assistant vice chancellor for budget and finance; a year later, she became associate vice chancellor for finance. Broeker earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the IU Kelley School of Business. She succeeds Dawn Rhodes, who is now chief business and finance officer and vice president at University of Maryland, Baltimore.
