Geovani Bonilla has joined Indiana University Health Plans as vice president of medical operations. He will oversee the plan’s pharmacy, quality and utilization management programs and collaborate with IU Health Plans’ network partners to improve care and cost outcomes. Bonilla previously served as director of utilization management for Johns Hopkins Healthcare. He holds a master’s of business administration degree from University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration from Barry University in Miami.
