Indiana University Health has named Dr. John Fitzgerald senior vice president of population health. He will lead the delivery of all population health programs for the system, including IU Health Plans, the IU Health Next Generation ACO and other performance-based arrangements. In addition, Fitzgerald will lead the transition and the development of population health capabilities in care management, disease management, utilization management and pharmacy benefit management. He is a general internist by training and will continue to serve as president of IU Health Physicians until his replacement is named.
