Pete Voss has been named chief medical officer for the IU Health East Central Region. He is an obstetrician/gynecologist by training, specializing in minimally invasive surgery including operative laparoscopy, DaVinci robotic surgery, gynecology and high-risk obstetrics. Voss earned his bachelor’s degree from Brown University and graduated with his MD from Indiana University School of Medicine. He has been on medical staff at IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital since 1991.

Voss is board certified by the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, American Medical Association, Indiana State Medical Association, Delaware-Blackford County Medical Society and International Society of Bone Densitometry.
