IU Health Makes Leadership Appointments
Indiana University Health has promoted Mary Drewes (pictured) to associate chief nursing executive. Also, Joe Meyer (pictured) has been promoted to senior vice president of system operations.
Drewes most recently served as chief nursing officer for IU Health White Memorial Hospital. She holds an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University, a master’s in nursing from Ball State University and a bachelor’s in nursing from Purdue University-North Central.
Meyer will continue to serve as vice president of system laboratory services until a successor is named.
The health network also announced the following changes:
- Dr. Jennifer Hartwell has been named the first chief wellness officer for IU Health Physicians. She will lead efforts to foster a culture of wellness for providers within the physicians group. She will continue to practice as a surgeon and serve as an associate dean at IU School of Medicine.
- Emily Jerman-Brown has been named vice president for human resources for IU Health Physicians. She was vice president for human resources for IU Health System Clinical Services.
