Indiana University Health will open three new urgent care locations in Avon, downtown Indianapolis, and Fort Wayne. The health system says each of the new locations will offer new features that aim to streamline patients’ waiting room experience.
IU Health urgent care centers have incorporated scheduling software to allow people to save their spot online to receive care. The software shows wait times and allows them to receive text messages showing their spot in line.
Other features of IU’s new urgent care centers include locations easier to access during the workday, on-site parking for convenience and extended hours before and after normal work times.
