IU Appoints Director

Subscribe NowTrevor Foughty has been named director of government relations and communications for Indiana University. He most recently served as campaign manager for Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana, who was elected to the U.S. Senate in November. Before that, Foughty was deputy chief of staff and communications director for Young’s U.S. House of Representatives office. Previously he handled communications for the Indiana Republican Party and the political action committee of then-Gov. Mitch Daniels. He has also served as assistant communications director for the Indiana Department of Education and campaign manager for various state and congressional campaigns around the state. Foughty earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethel College in Mishawaka.
