Carmel-based ITT Educational Services Inc. (NYSE: ESI) is reporting a fourth quarter loss of $11.6 million, compared to a $9.5 million loss during the same period the previous year. The for-profit education provider says new student enrollment increased 4.5 percent during the quarter, while total enrollment decreased 5.8 percent. January 30, 2013

CARMEL, Ind. – ITT Educational Services Inc. (NYSE: ESI), a leading provider of technology-oriented postsecondary degree programs, today reported that new student enrollment in the fourth quarter of 2013 increased 4.5 percent to 13,995 compared to 13,398 in the same period in 2012. Total student enrollment decreased 5.8 percent to 57,542 as of December 31, 2013 compared to 61,059 as of December 31, 2012.
