Santa Claus, Ind. — According to a just-released article on TIME magazine's website, The Voyage at Holiday World is the nation’s best wooden roller coaster.

“TIME's list is pretty impressive – and we're honored to see our Voyage is the topped-ranked wooden coaster,” says Holiday World's president, Matt Eckert. “Looking through the top-ten list, we couldn’t help but notice that we’re the only family-owned park represented. We're proud to prove that building incredible roller coasters isn’t limited to just the corporate parks.”

TIME's article, which presents data from the research hub FindTheBest.com, lists The Voyage as the nation's number-five coaster overall and number-one wooden roller coaster. Voyage received 98.4 out of 100 possible “smart rating” points, which took into consideration Voyage’s height, length, speed, first drop, and high ranking in other polls.

TIME magazine's print circulation is 3.3 million; its website is the 199th most visited website in the nation.
