More than $900,000 has been distributed through the Clean Water Indiana program.
The grants have been awarded for projects that will begin in 2017. The ISDA says the grants are meant to seek new ways to protect the state’s drinking water, improve water quality throughout the state and raise awareness about the impact of land use on the state’s water resources.
"These grants will go a long way to support Indiana’s conservation districts and landowners, who are working hard to improve water quality statewide," said ISDA Director Ted McKinney. "Conserving our state’s natural resources is critical to our future, and we must continue to work together towards this common goal."
