Irsay Daughter to Lead Colts in Father’s Absence

Subscribe NowThe Indianapolis Colts say Carlie Irsay-Gordon will run the team while her father, team owner Jim Irsay, is away. Irsay-Gordon has previously represented the Colts at National Football League owners meetings. The Colts sent the following statement to Inside INdiana Business:
“In the case of a temporary absence of Mr. Irsay, Carlie Irsay-Gordon is the principal of authority.”
Jim Irsay was arrested earlier this week on Operating While Intoxicated and drug possession charges. The Colts say he has checked into a treatment facility. His first court appearance is scheduled for next week.
Irsay-Gordon became a Colts vice president on 2008 and just completed her second season as a vice-chair/owner along with her sisters Casey Foyt and Kalen Irsay.
She has represented the organization at NFL Owners' meetings since 2004.
