Irma Delays Fishers Portillo’s Opening

The much-anticipated opening of the new Portillo’s location in Fishers is being slightly delayed. The restaurant says the delivery of essential pieces of restaurant equipment has been held up by Hurricane Irma.

The restaurant will now open September 28 at 10:30 a.m. Portillo’s is also rescheduling its sneak peak training meals, for which patrons who registered to receive a "Golden Hot Dog Ticket" to try some of the menu items before the store opened.

The new sneak peak days will take place September 26 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and September 27 from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Portillo’s says those with tickets can come to the sneak peak training meals on either day during the designated time periods.
