Indianapolis Public Schools has named Dennis Tackitt chief of transformation. He previously served for 20 years as chief financial officer for Wayne Township Schools in Indianapolis, where he was responsible for finance, facilities, transportation and child nutrition. In this newly-created position, Tackitt is responsible for implementing strategic transformation projects for areas including public information, security, financial operations and accounting, transportation, facilities, food service and information technology.
