Evansville-based Old National Bancorp has added Rafael Sanchez to its management team. He most recently served as chief executive officer of Indianapolis Power and Light Co. and will take on the role of president of private banking.

Sanchez is not a stranger to the banking industry; he began his career as a retail banker with National City Bank in Fort Wayne.

Sanchez joined IPL in February 2016 as vice president of strategic planning. He was promoted to president and CEO the following June.
