Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne will host its annual Job & Internship Fair next week. Over 120 local and national employers are expected to attend. September 17, 2014

FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne (IPFW) will host its annual Job & Internship Fair on Tuesday, September 23 from 1:30-4:30 p.m. in the Field House, located in the Gates Center.

This is the largest career fair in northeast Indiana this fall. Over 120 local and national employers will attend, with thousands of full-time and part-time positions to fill, as well as many available internship opportunities.

The Job and Internship Fair is free and open to IPFW students, alumni, and community members.

“We are extremely pleased to host an event like this that provides opportunities for students, alumni, area businesses, and the community,” said Josiah Brown, assistant director for employer services.

IPFW has a talented body of students and alumni primed to further their careers.”

Attendees should arrive early and park in Garage P3 on the north side of campus, near the St. Joe Road entrance.

Career Services will host prep sessions for the Job and Internship Fair on September 22 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Kettler Hall, room 109. These sessions will give helpful hints on what to expect from the Job Fair, how to put together an outstanding resume, and how to follow up with interested employers after the fair. No appointments are necessary.
