FORT WAYNE, Ind.—Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne
(IPFW) is pleased to announce Justin Busch will join the university as the new director of alumni relations.
Busch is a graduate of IPFW with degrees from both Indiana and Purdue
University: a B.A. in Interpersonal and Organizational Communication
(Purdue) and a B.A. in History (IU). Busch also served as a two-term student body president during his time at IPFW.
“I am excited to welcome Justin back to the IPFW community,” said Chancellor Vicky Carwein. “We are proud to be the university that helped launch his very successful career and know he will serve our alumni and students well as he builds our alumni organization’s efforts.”
Busch also worked for the 55th Presidential Inauguration Committee as a deputy site manager and was a presidential appointee for the United States Department of Agriculture and the United States General Services Administration.
“Our team will work hard to develop dynamic events and provide exciting opportunities for alumni and the community to stay connected to IPFW,”said Busch. “I'm thrilled to be part of the IPFW family on campus again, and I look forward to serving my fellow alumni, our university, and the two great institutions it represents.”
Most recently Busch worked for United States Senators Dan Coats and Richard Lugar as deputy political director and northeast Indiana director, respectively. Busch’s first official day is Aug. 12, 2013.Source: IPFW
