IPFW Library Closes For Renovations

IPFW has temporarily closed its Walter E. Helmke Library. The closure is expected to last for one year while renovations are completed.
The university says the library will re-open in the Library Services Center, formerly known as the 24/7 computer room, on January 4. All of the Helmke Library services and resources will be available during the renovation.
Some of the changes being made to the library include a new heating and cooling system, upgraded plumbing and restrooms, new LED lighting and new study spaces. The university will also be installing new audio/visual equipment and concierge desks along with a new fire alarm and sprinkler system.
