Interactive Intelligence Hires CMO

(Nasdaq: ININ) has chosen Justin Helmig to serve as chief marketing officer. Helmig previously served as chief executive officer of Demand Signals, a marketing technology platform and services firm based in North Carolina.
Interactive Intelligence says in his new role, Helmig will lead several operations, including field and partner marketing, branding and analytics. CEO Donald Brown says Helmig’s 19 years of experience makes him an "ideal candidate" for the position.
"I look forward to drawing on my skills to inspire and guide the many talented team members at Interactive with the objective of delivering a focused marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s business goals and accelerates success," said Helmig.
Helmig previously served in various marketing and technology roles at companies including General Instrument Corp., Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) and Texas Instruments Inc. (Nasdaq: TXN).
