Rush County’s largest manufacturer is celebrating 30 years in business. INTAT Precision Inc., which currently has more than 500 workers, has invested some $125 million into its Rushville operations since 1988. The Rush County Economic & Community Development Corp. says it opened with around 150 employees and has expanded seven times.
Rushville Mayor Mike Pavey, who is traveling next month to Japan to connect with leaders from INTAT parent Aisin Takaoka, says "INTAT Precision is one of the great manufacturers in the Indiana. We are blessed to have them located in Rushville. Each year, our relationship with INTAT grows stronger."
In conjunction with the anniversary celebration, INTAT has donated $25,000 to a project converting a former Masonic lodge in Rushville to a new City Center that will include the relocated City Hall, a movie theater and Ivy Tech Community College classrooms.
