INPRS Names CIO

Scott Davis has been promoted to chief investment officer for the Indiana Public Retirement System. He was previously deputy CIO and served as interim CIO since September 2015. Davis replaces former CIO David Cooper who left INPRS for a similar position at the Purdue Research Foundation. Davis previously worked at the Indiana Finance Authority. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, with majors in finance and accounting. INPRS also promoted Bo Ramsey, director of private equity at INPRS, to deputy CIO. He joined INPRS as a senior investment analyst in private equity in May 2012. In December 2012, Ramsey was named director of private equity. He holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and a Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law. Prior to joining INPRS, Ramsey served as an attorney for Ice Miller LLP in Indianapolis and as associate general counsel at Iasta Inc., a software company located in Carmel.
