Innovative Engineering Services Announces New Office

Innovative Engineering Services will operate from a new office in downtown Fort Wayne. IES President Mike Bley says the company invested $100,000 in furniture and equipment for the office.

IES is a structural engineering firm that focuses on the construction industry. The company specializes in concrete parking structures, and also take on mixed-use structures, office and educational buildings and industrial facilities.

The company was founded in 2008 and currently has six employees and two summer interns. 

"It’s an honor to be part of the growth and resurgence of downtown Fort Wayne," Bley said in a news release. "I always wanted to build my own company from scratch, and I’m so thankful for the support, encouragement, and guidance of friends, family, and our great community."

With the larger office space, IES has hired an additional draftsman and two summer interns. Bley says he intends to continue growing the company as its client base expands.
