Innovation Connector Hosting Pitch Competition

Subscribe NowMuncie-based Innovation Connector will Wednesday host an event for entrepreneurs to potentially take home funding for their ideas. The BIG Idea Pitch Competition will award nearly $30,000 in cash and business support services to five finalists.
The finalists will each have three minutes to pitch their ideas to a panel of judges. The first place winner will receive $5,000 in cash, plus a prize package including six months of access to the Innovation Connector coworking space in Muncie and on-site business coaching, as well as accounting, marketing and legal consultation services.
Last year’s competition was won by high school students Sydney Conn and Leena Vyas, who created The Breeze Charger, a device that attaches to slow-moving vehicles such as rickshaws to generate energy.
