A year after rolling out plans to locate a hub in central Indiana, India-based Infosys (NYSE: INFY) will showcase its future U.S. training campus: the old Indianapolis International Airport site. Inside INdiana Business earlier this week reported details of Thursday afternoon’s announcement, which include an additional 1,000 jobs on top of the 2,000 the tech giant called for initially. Vice President Mike Pence, Governor Eric Holcomb and company officials will be on hand in Indianapolis.
Last month, Infosys cut the ribbon on its Indianapolis office in One America Tower downtown. Work to hone in on the company’s property of choice for the U.S. Training Center has been ongoing since mid-last year.
The media conference will take place at 1:15 p.m. at the company’s office in One America Tower.
