The Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association has appointed a chair and co-chair of the association’s awards banquet committee. Lisa Kuehl, commercial loan portfolio manager at Horizon Bank, will be the new committee chair. Barbara Belligio, president of Advanced Medical Placement Consultants, LLC, will serve as co-chair.

The Influential Women awards banquet recognizes the achievements of women that have redefined their companies, industries and communities through their examples as leaders and innovators. The event is in its ninth year and expects more than 750 people to attend. 

 “NWIIWA is important to me because it’s a place where women can safely voice their opinions, concerns, and ultimately grow as an individual,” Kuehl said in a news release. “It also gives women an opportunity to connect with other women who they may otherwise not get an opportunity to meet.”
