However, the Indianapolis Public Transportation Corp., which runs IndyGo’s Open Door program, says workers will be invited to apply with the new vendor and hopes to make it a seamless transition.
IndyGo says it will be awarding a new contract this week, which will go into effect October 1. IndyGo says this affects only staff for its Open Door program, which provides transportation services for the disabled.
The current operator, Illinois-based Transdev Services Inc, will end its service on September 30.
