IndyCog Director Heading to IU

The executive director of IndyCog is stepping down. The nonprofit organization says Kevin Whited is leaving to serve as the new transportation demand management coordinator and bicycle manager at Indiana University’s Bloomington campus.
Whited co-founded IndyCog, which works to promote bicycling and bike safety in Indianapolis. IndyCog says during Whited’s tenure, Indianapolis was named a bronze-level bicycle friendly city and the organization has hosted the city’s "Bike to Work Day" for the past six years.
"Kevin’s mark on the cycling culture of Indianapolis is undeniable and we offer our sincere thanks for his efforts over the past several years and are happy that he will continue to be a part of the bicycle community in Indianapolis," the organization said in a press release.
IndyCog says its board of directors is in the process of selecting an interim executive director who will serve until a permanent successor is found.
