INDYCAR announced today during the North American International Auto Show that global information technology and communications company NTT has signed a multiyear agreement to become the IndyCar Series title partner. NTT has also become the official technology partner of INDYCAR, the IndyCar Series, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, the Indianapolis 500 and NASCAR’s Brickyard 400. INDYCAR will work with NTT to expand the evolution of INDYCAR’s mobile app and utilize of NTT’s Smart Platform to support the sport and its venues in delivering quality content and exclusive insights into the racing series.
The NTT IndyCar Series competes on permanent road courses, temporary street circuits, short ovals and superspeedway ovals, including the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, promising to give fans a fast, diverse and challenging race.
Made up of of 17 races, the 2019 NTT IndyCar Series starts with the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg on March 10, including the 103rd Indianapolis 500 on May 26 and ending with the INDYCAR Grand Prix of Monterey on Sept. 22.
