Indy Women in Tech Championship Opens Volunteer Registration

The Official LPGA tournament will feature a full field of 144 players competing for $2 million at The Brickyard Crossing Golf Course at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The event is needs more than 700 volunteers to fill roles on 18 different committees. Some of the positions needed are marshals and standard bearers, transportation assistance and caddie tent duties.
Representatives say while some committees require golf knowledge, there are open spots that do not require any golf knowledge or experience. Committees and shift times will be filled on a first come first served basis.
The Official LPGA event will be held September 23 through 29.
