INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – American Airlines inaugural nonstop service to LAX

WHAT: The inaugural nonstop American Airlines flight from IND to LAX will be commemorated with a unique ribbon cutting featuring the historic scissors used in a much earlier ribbon cutting: that marking the first ever American Airlines jet flight from IND on June 1, 1960. In addition, the Indianapolis Airport Authority (IAA) will provide a water-cannon salute to the departing Boeing 737-800 as it embarks on flight 1337 to LAX..
