Indy Spot Among ‘Best Restaurants for a Big Night Out’
OpenTable has released its list of 100 Best Restaurants in America for a Big Night Out for 2019. A steakhouse that opened in 1902 is the sole restaurant to represent Indiana on the list.
St. Elmo Steakhouse represented the Hoosier state, featured on the list for its food and atmosphere. The steakhouse has a 96 percent recommended rate on the site and is the most booked in Indiana.
The list showcases restaurants that have audience-approved cuisine, as well as a “vibrant bar scene and lively atmospheres.”
The list was compiled from an analysis of more than 12,000,000 reviews, spanning more than 30,000 restaurants nationwide, all submitted by verified diners on the site.
"The list spotlights the restaurants that have all the ingredients for the perfect big night out — upbeat energy, innovative cocktails, robust wine lists, and, of course, outstanding food," said Caroline Potter, Chief Dining Officer at OpenTable, in a news release. "Whether your ideal night out is at a bustling bar or a hot spot to see and be seen, you can count on any of these restaurants for a night of fun."
