The 2021 National Fraternal Order of Police Conference is coming to Indianapolis in 2021. During an announcement Thursday at the Indiana Convention Center, local and national FOP representatives, Mayor Joe Hogsett and Visit Indy officials discussed the anticipated financial impact, which they say could exceed $7 million.
Event organizers say the gathering could attract over 5,000. In a tweet following the announcement, Indianapolis Fraternal Order of Police #86 President Rick Snyder said "we are grateful for opportunity to make significant economic impact for our Indy business community and local/state tax revenue." He called it a big win for the city and added "we have brought home the checkered flag for Indy!"
This year’s conference recently wrapped up in Nashville and the 2019 edition will be held in New Orleans.
