Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based property tax appeal management software company AppealTrack has been acquired by a San Diego competitor. Tax Compliance Inc. Chief Executive Officer Scott Strauss says the deal will allow it to enter "market segments that were previously difficult to access."
AppealTrack, founded in 2008, provides cloud-based property tax software to clients including tax attorneys, accountants and consultants. The company says more than 86,000 properties have been managed on its platform with a total market value of more than $100 billion. Its clients include Grant Thornton, Ice Miller and Nordstrom.
In a release, AppealTrack founder Doug Collins said, "Joining with TCI extends our ability to go even further than we already have. We have a shared vision for where AppealTrack can go and what it can become, to ensure our users get the very best tools available to manage their property tax responsibilities."
