Indy restaurants make Yelp’s ‘Top 100’ list
Two restaurants in downtown Indianapolis are ranked in Yelp’s “Top 100 U.S. Restaurants 2023” list. The restaurants were submitted by Yelp users and ranked by several factors, including number of submissions, ratings and geographic representation.
The two Indy restaurants, Vida and Livery, are both owned by Cunningham Restaurant Group and the only Indiana representatives on the list.
Vida is ranked No. 37 on this year’s list. Located in the Lockerbie Square neighborhood, the restaurant is cited for its popular dishes such as beef tartare, ribeye and scallops as part of an ever-changing menu from James Beard-nominated chef Thomas Melvin.
Livery, located along College Avenue near Mass Ave in downtown Indy, is ranked No. 91. The Latin American-inspired cuisine is the “the perfect setting for couples or groups to dine on dishes made from produce grown in the restaurant’s hydroponic greenhouse,” according to Yelp.
The top restaurants on the list include Broken Mouth/Lee’s Homestyle in Los Angeles, Kaaloa’s Super Js Authentic Hawaiian in Hawaii, and Archibald’s Village Bakery in Florida.
